So.. I'm working on this new project, and it's all about Gnomes...  Actually some Christmas decorations, based on Danish traditions, and folk-lore gnomes.
Yah, Gnomes (Nisser) play a great part in Danish Christmas (Jul) ... it's a fantastic pagan element, that have survived our christian traditions.

Wow, I got some commissions going this week. So I actually had some work to sink my teeth into.. was nice.

One of the commissions I made, was based on a coffee-grounds-reading, I made for the client, and that seemed to work pretty good.. so I might start looking into doing some more work that way, perhaps figure out some prices for commissions based on fortune-telling?

I have been working in the Danish Witches community for over 10 years, so I kinda have some good resource to pull on.. since I am able to read Bones, Coffe/tea, Eggs, Cards, Dirt, Palms, and what not... Hell I could even do work based on Norse Seid-magic and dream-travels ... could be fun

I have been working to get familiar with my new equipment, and programs here...
I have gone from working in Photoshop only, to use ArtRage, PhotoImpact and Gimp for my work now... mostly due to some.. ahherm.. *cough*licence issues*cough*
But I'm getting quite happy with the way it's working out, especially with the OEM of ArtRage that came with some Wacom tablet...

Today I'll be working on some commissions I have in the "todo"-pile... and if I get the time, I'll try and do some more minecraft-fanart... just for the fun of it.
*getting the coffee and cranking up the volume on the stereo*

I have been doing some promotion for my art, among my Danish network the last few days, and it's been paying off.. Giving away free quick-draw portraits for supporters and people who help me on Facebook.. And now the payoff seems to show, I'm actually getting more orders, and work is starting to pile up, in a good way!

So, I have been working on this horse-painting all day, and I'm about to give in due to headache and sore neck...  but I'll try to put an hour or two more in it.

Well I got two good drawings done today, if I say so myself... and I do..
That's a days work in my eyes, specially since it's Sunday, and I should use my time to do more silly things.
Well, tomorrow is yet another Monday, dedicated to drawing some more.. so that's what I'll do.

Well, that's it... I just woke up an hour ago, feeling like rolling over and taking another hour on the other side.. but I got past the feeling of betray from my alarm clock, and made some coffee instead.
My initial plan today, was to go over some price-lists I have been working on. Since orders for paintings have been dropping in on a regular basis since last year, I figured it's about time to make some kind of logic structure to my prices.
Anyway, after finishing my first cup of coffee, I kinda postponed that idea till tomorrow, since I got an order in my E-mail... yay, another horse-painting, Im right on it... as soon as I get my second cup of coffee...

Well, I have been inside all day, and now I have to bite the bullet, and go outside... BUT IT'S FUCKIN COLD! .. crap.. oh well, find some warm clothes, a large pair of earphones and I'm on my way.
Back later, with a update to the Foal-painting, due to customer demands.. ?! wow.. I have costumers!

Somehow, I feel really productive today, not sure what went wrong.. Anyway, I uploaded my first art-piece of the day a few minutes ago, and is already working on another one.
So weird.. Normally I would fall into some kind of depressive state about now, and find more coffee and start playing minecraft..  only thing annoying me right now, are to cats, who think I'm their personal runway, and they keep trying to take off.. Think I might launch them out the window soon.

So, I finally got that spark of inspiration I needed to get this next piece down to useful state. Here we go, sharpen the pencils, turn up the music, and get to work Zix.

Today is just one of those days I guess. The coffee is good, the cigarette made me dizzy, as i smoked it outside in the chilly morning haze. Now I'm sitting here, staring at my monitor, waiting for some kind of inspiration to hit me. Actually I already have a good idea, I just need that final spark of .. something... to be able to put it down to a sketch.
Well, I'll just sip some more coffee, and stare at deviants as I wait for the spark to come.

So, now it's like 8pm here, and I'm all out of ideas for today.
Tomorrow might bring some new ideas, since I kinda plan on making at least one drawing or painting, while I drink my morning coffee, then I'll see what'll happen.

Okay, I finally figured out, that drinking my coffee hot, and not forgetting it while i paint, makes me enjoy it even more. But alas, I ran out of smokes this morning.. but they should be on their way now... making my hands steady again, and my thoughts less frantic.

So I started the morning out, leaving my hot coffee on the table until it turned cold.
Then i made "the heart is deceitful" and got myself a new cup of coffee.. same deal.. made a new horse painting, and forgot my coffee... so now, Im on cold baylies.. and wondering if ill get more work done today.

Well, finally I took the time out to make a profile here on Deviant. It's funny how things like finding 5 minutes to do something that simple, feels like ripping out a day of my calender... and afterwards I realize that I was just being silly.

I'll start out by posting some digital paintings I have been making of horses, due to popular demand the last few months.
Sometime soon I'll find the time to upload some of my other stuff too, and whatever I might be working on at the moment.
